Baran Kablo’s RE-2X(St)H-fl PIMF-TIMF Instrumentation Cable is designed for use in electronic control systems, communication technologies, and the petrochemical industry. This cable is ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications, providing excellent performance for analog and digital signal transmission. RE-2X(St)H-fl PIMF-TIMF is especially suited for environments with high safety requirements, as it is manufactured with an HFFR (Flame Retardant and Self-Extinguishing) compound. This feature prevents the spread of flames and produces very little smoke in the event of a fire, thereby maximizing safety by preserving visibility during emergencies.
Additionally, the cable is equipped with PIMF (Pairs in Metal Foil) and TIMF (Triads in Metal Foil) structures. These configurations individually shield each pair and triad with metal foil, providing high-level protection against electromagnetic interference and enhancing signal integrity. This design is particularly beneficial in industrial environments with high levels of electromagnetic disturbances, ensuring reliable signal transmission and uninterrupted performance.
